Varanasi


I was in Varanasi from 7 Feb to 13 Feb 2011. I was there because of NSD repertory company arranged a 2 plays festival of four days, kabir choura, nagri natak mandali. And I am related to the company as an Actor.

Varanasi which is also known as Banaras and Kashi. A city situated on the banks of the River Ganges in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. Small place full of noise. All time in festive mood.

This is a place where death and life come together. Janma and Mrityu both are celebrate like festival.

Har Har Mahadev...!!!!this is the slow-gun from Varanasi people. Kashi vishwanath is the main temple of Varanasi which is on the bank of Ganges. The bank of Ganges in Varanasi is divided in
many ghats by name according to rituals happened there.


This is a place where tourist or devotees come from all over the world with their believes.



I don`t know where god is. I never used to search him in temple, maszid or in church. But I believe something by my age and by my experience of life.



I observe people of Varanasi, the monks, the oghories, the phakeers, the pilgrims, the devotees, the temples, the birds, the Ganges, the mob of peoples comes from different places.


I saw a new born baby on the steps of dashwyamedh ghat of Ganges in Varanasi laying as an object without breath. Flies are having meal from that baby. I clicked three four time and came back to hotel. I didn`t had meal that day. I just slept and after three-four hours I went to the theater.
Here I am very sorry....

This is also Varanasi....


Again W4 ?, the questions on the steps of Varanasi Ganges ghat....
life stops
life goes on
but
time never stops
time goes on and on

some are living
some are dying

some are getting opportunity to live, they are living
I don`t know what is called living
but some are not..
unknown death
we all are just waiting..here ...for ...death
doing something.......
